Our PCD coring bits are engineered to the highest possible quality. Due to the polycrystalline diamond cutters set on the crown they have a long working life, very fast penetration rates and high percentage of core recovery in soft through to hard rock formations. PCD bits are a great alternative to T.C bits and Surface set diamond bits, when drilling in non-consolidated and medium/hard rock formations. PCD bits may be used with air, mud or foam flushing.

The T2-101 is built for the T2 core barrel. The overall diameter of 101mm or 3.9 Inches, with a coring (inside) diameter of 84mm or 3.3 Inches. which have a relatively small cutting area and therefore permit rapid penetration, especially in harder rock formations. The thin wall barrels and core bits produce fewer cuttings which permits the use of lower flush velocities, resulting in diminished sample disturbance. Water or polymer flush is required.

Drill-Its Griffin PCD set of drill bits are our range of Set To Liner PCD models, meaning the casing string that does not extend to the top of the wellbore, but instead is anchored or suspended from inside the bottom of the previous casing string. There is no difference between the casing joints themselves.
