The T2-86 core barrel is a specific type of core barrel used in wireline coring operations. It is designed to collect core samples with a diameter of 67mm or 2.83 Inches. Providing a smaller diameter than other standard core barrel size diameters.

These bits are Conventional coring tools meaning they use Core Barrel Drill-Line Inner Tube Plastic Liner. When the clear plastic Liner is used (inserted) it will not contaminate the Core sample during drilling and encapsulation.

The key components found in a typical T2-86 core barrel are; The Inner Tube, Core Bit, Core lifter, Inner Tube Extension, Overshot Assembly, Spring, Spring Liner, Lifter Case and the Catcher Sub.
